About Ameen Peer Dargah: Ameen Peer Dargah was established in 1683 by Sufi Saint Peerullah Husaini declare linage to teller Mohammed. This dargah is also known as Pedda Dargah of Kadapa and even more famously as South Ajmer dargah by the locals and visitors and is said to be nearly 332 years old. Ameen Peer Dargah: Ameen Peer Dargah is a Sufi shrine in the town of Kadapa. This shrine is frequented by people of all faiths and religions and is a symbol of religious and communal harmony.
Ameen Peer Dargah, Kadapa (Asthana-e-Magdoom Ilahi Dargah complex) (Badi Dargah, Pedda Dargah) in Kadapa (Cuddapah) is an example of the communal agreement preached by enormous saints and sages in ancient days. Come Thursday and Friday, The shrine is open every day from 5.30 am until 10 am and then again from 5 pm until 10 pm. On Fridays, the Ameen Peer Dargah follows the same timings, but can be accessed also between 12.30 pm to 3 pm.The scores of pilgrims cutting across religious faiths, throng the the 300-year-old shrine seeking blessings of saints Peerullah Hussaini and Arifullah Hussaini II who lie buried here. Followers of the dargah believe that any wish that one makes at the shrine is always fulfilled. A large number of Hindus, Muslims and people of various faiths are disciples of the shrine. The family’s heirs mark themselves with a saffron dress and the disciples wear a saffron cap.
The famous of Bollywood stars Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan, after they got married, and visiting Khwaja peerullah Dhargah. Even the Ex Chief Minister of A. P Dr. YS Rajashekar Reddy Aamir Khan and AR Rahman visited this dargah,The Dhargah location has though less frequently, which is in Nakkash Colony in Kadapa town. A large number of Hindus, Muslims and people of different faiths are disciples of the shrine. The family's descendants identify themselves with a saffron dresss and the disciples wear a saffron cap. Though it is little known, Ameen Peer Dargah, is visited by most of the famous celebrities from Bollywood and political field.Many notable Indian personalities have visited this shrine, among them Mrs. Indira Gandhi, Neelam Sanjeeva Reddy, etc.The shrine is regarded as one of the most peaceful and serene spots in Kadapa.
