About Chandragiri Fort:Chandragiri fort, built in 1640 is situated. The Sri Krishna Deva Raya court intended is the birthplace of Timmarusu. This is due to the construction of a half-moon of the Chandragiri hill fortress called Fort. The surrounding  building a castle in the movements of the enemy on the distant hill. This is almost a kilo meter wall around the castle with strong wall.The big stones used to construct the palace. It work that it was built with the help of elephants. The wall between shrubs corrosion is still intact. The wall outer side of this is a large Stone.The main building of the Chandragiri Fort, Raja Mahal, Chandragiri Kota has a leading position in the history of the kings of Vijayanagara Chandragiri. The Fort was guest house in Sri Krishna Deva Raya.

Still the Raja Mahal Palace is now an archeological museum.The palace is  sample of architecture of Vijayanagar period.The invest towers purpose the Hindu architectural marerial. The Chandragiri Fort was constructed using brick, stone, lime mortar and without of wood.

The main palace known as the ‘Raj Mahal Palace’ is awesome and with the modern new colour lighting system following now. A number of of the major kavyas of Vijayanagara time are said to be collected here. In 1646 the fort was annexed into the Golkonda region, subsequently came under Mysore rule till 1792 and went into oblivion. Inside the fortification are seen eight ruined temples of saivite and vaishnavite pantheons, Raja mahal, Rani mahal and other ruined structures.

King’s Palace: One of the supreme examples of Indo-Saracenic architecture of Vijayanagara stage, this imposing three strayed palace decorated by the topmost towers in place of certain Hindu architectural elements, was constructed with stone, brick, lime mortar and is devoid of timber. The mid tower that covers durbar hall rises through two stores. It is said to be the same venue where Sri Rangaraya arranged the site of Fort St. George to the British in 1640.

Queen’s Palace: Same to the Kings palace in style and method of execution, this construction with ground base looking like a strong and first floor containing quarters decorated with attractive Sikhara has a flat roof. Contrary to the popular belief that this place was meant for the queen or harem, the epic graphical record available from the basement speaks this structure being a commander’s quarters.
