About Mantralayam: The Mantralayam is   located in Kurnool district in Andhra Pradesh, India. Mantralayam is on the banks of Tungabhadra River, border of among Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh, in this area.

Sri Guru Raghavendra Swami (1595-1671), a prominent Hindu religious guruvu. Raghavendra sway 16th century, Madhvism (worship of Vishnu as the supreme God) and Sri Madhvacharya's Dvaita philosophy.  measuring principle) be applied, He is considered an incarnation of prahlada, the Madhava mutt disgrace in Tamil Nadu from 1624 to 1636, leading  and then went on an expedition to the north. Sri Ragavendra built  in Mantralayam, and the place was crypt. There are lakhs of devotees are visiting to the Holy Mantralaya.


Panchamukkha Anjaneya:
Panchamukkha Anjaneya Sri Raghavendhra was an enthusiastic devotee of Sri Moola Rama and Sri Panchamukha Anjaneya and he achieve  penance here for 12 years and Hanuman has surprise to Ragavendra in the form of Sri Panchamukha Anjaneya, an incarnation of Lord Hanuman, declaration to  within him the avatars of Varaha, Garuda, Anjaneya, Narasimha and Hayagreeva. The anjaneya is a swayambu inscription on the rocky cave.

Mantralayam Flood in 2009:
In 2009 October, a big flood has been arising to Mantralayam in northern Karnataka and bordering districts of Andhra Pradesh. Mantralayam, being in the Kurnool district A. P. was the most awful situated in this area. The whole region and township entire temple town was stranded with the Mutt being submerged in the Tungabhadra. The helping Swamiji of the Mutt and pair of his other adviser sought shelter in the top floor till they were rescued by the Karnataka state government through an IAF helicopter.The completely city of all electric poles, by road, rail and telephone were pull -up and connection to region city was completely cut-off. The habit rituals, practices and offerings at the temple were resumed much more than a week after the floods.

Mantralayam Provides:The Mutt gives accommodation for devotees and free meal is provided at the Ashram on most days. and ensured that free meals and water  available to all devotees to the Mutt. It is a practice that continues to this date at the Moola Brindavana Matha at Mantralayam with nearly 4k-5k devotees being fed here every day. Accepts donations for free meals and other offerings at the temple. All donations to the Mutt can be sent in the form of a cheque or D.D Acceptance.

How to reach Mantralayam:
By Road:
The Ashram is accessible by bus, taxis and other forms of private transport from both Mantralayam Road and Raichur railway stations, with Raichur offering more options, since it is a major regional hub.
By Train:
The town is 16 km left from Mantralayam Road railway station on the Bombay, Madras and Bangalore routes and around 30 miles from Raichur railway station.
By Air: 
The adjacent airports are at Hyderabad about 240 km.
