About Kodaikanal: Kodaikanal is a hill station of the Dindigul ,Tamil Nadu, India. One of the mainly admired hill stations of South India. The Kodaikanal name known as in the Tamil language means "The Gift of the Forest. Kodaikanal is called as the "Princess of Hill stations and it has an extensive history as a retreat and well-liked visitor purpose.
    
Kodaikanal (also referred Kodai) offers tourists amusing climate, verdant green environs and a stunning lake. By Train: The hill station is well connected to almost railway stations. Almost all south bound express trains (like Anantpuri Express, Nagarcoil Express, Mysore Express, Chennai Express among others) pass through the Kodai Road which is about 80 km away from the main hill-station.
By Air: Nearest airports to Kodaikanal are Coimnatore at 170 kilometers, Trichy at 195 kilometets and Madurai at 120 kilometers.
