About Trimbakeshwar Temple :Trimbakeshwar Temple is one of the divine and holy place for Hindu devotees and is respected as a one of the 12 jyotirlinga shrines of Lord Shiva in India This jyotirlinga is swayambhu and enormous.Trimbakeshwar or Tryambakeshwar is   prehistoric Hindu temple  located in the Nashik of Maharashtra and India. Nashik to Trimbakeshwar temple 28 km distance from the city.


 The temple situated in the foothill of mountain Bhramagiri it is the beginning of river Ganga (here the river name known as Godavari) longest river in peninsular India.In this temple has mainly eye-catching part of this temple is occurrence of three linga's every one in place of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva.This is the only temple where Shivalingam is not appearing over the ground but under. It's being said that these 3 linga's are eroding due to excess offering of water (Ganga) during puja's. Trimbakeshwar is having three faces symbolizing Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu and Lord Rudra (Shiva).Stories abound related to this temple and its name. I didn't get any concrete answers to why there are three linga's in this temple and thus so not mentioning here.


    
Here the position is well-known for plenty of religious rituals. Narayan Nagbali, Kalsarpa Shanti, Tripindi vidhi are done here. Here only special pooja done in Tribakeshwar temple. Narayan Nagbali pooja is doing at Trimbakeshwar temple only. Three days conduct this pooja only. Except some particular dates doing this pooja.  A few days are not appropriate to conduct this pooja. This puja is work for a lot of cause like to treat sickness, bad times, barren parents, economic disaster. It is broadly whispered that the Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga is one of the shrines places devoted to Lord Shiva in the world. Kushavarta is water Kunda in Trimbakeshwar area from where river Godavari takes route. This pond was formed by Pandavas. The water of Gautami Godavari Ganga comes from Brahmagiri Mountain and accumulation available here the river goes towards the central Trimbakeshwar Temple. The wonder here is no one knows from where the water goes in the pond. This pond is for all time filled with the Godavari water, not at all dries up and no one knows from where water from depart  the pond and forms the river. This holy pond water bathing removes all sins and the period of the kumba mela in Trimbakeshwar all devotees contribute this festival.
