About Lepakshi:Lepakshi is a small village in situated about 135 Kms North of Bangalore, in the District of Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh,india. The entrance of the town, where a garden is in a seated position and largest monolith statue of Nandi. Again altitudes of about thirty feet, there seems to be a snake around a shiva will be outdoors. There are famous pillars, arches and many Shiva lingaas of the temple, untill being worshiped of temple. The temple is very awesome and this has a large campus in the center of the temple.

The Lepakshi has many significant specialties. Here is the famousof  mulavirattu virabhadhra Lord. There is a one pole inside the temple of Goddess statue. Generally, god is look like in outside. The Virabhadhra Lord Ugrudu looks not show the city side of the temple is a little out of the gate. Lepakshi is ethnically and archaeologically significant, During the Vijayanagara Kings' period which were establishing in Shiva,Vishnu and Veerabhadra in (1336–1646). The entire temple built on a monolithic convex rock shaped like a tortoise called as Kurma Saila.The original inscription about the temple dates to 1533 C.E.
In Treta Yuga myths takes it to the when Lord Rama visited this site. It is here that Jatayu attained moksha . The name Lepakshi is said to be derived from ‘Laya Pakshi’ (insensible bird). ‘Le Pakshi’, meaning ‘come up, Bird’ expressed by Rama.  There are also a Ramalingam and a Hanuman Lingam installed by Rama and Anjaneya respectively.

The statue has been situated so that it faces the shivalinga which is watched over by a large snake inside the temple. The Nandi Looks like earrings, Kaasu malai, a bell chain, and other jeweler.
