About Annamalaiyar Temple : Annamalaiyar Temple  is a Hindu temple dedicated to the deity Shiva, situated at the  Annamalai mountain Thiruvannamalai in Tamil Nadu and India.

The temple and the embodiment of Lord Siva in this place of Tiruvannamalai are described in many Sanskrit and Tamil scriptures. Following to the legends, there was quarrel between Lord Vishnu and Lord Brahma concerning who is bigger god.
