About Rammappa Temple: Ramappa Temple is a holy shrine Lord Shiva here worshiped and Ramappa Temple also called as the Ramalingeswara temple, the prehistoric capital of the Kakatiya dynasty and is located 77 km from Warangal, and 157 km from Hyderabad , Telangana, India.

In 1213, for the duration of the period of the kakatiya ruler Ganapati,the 
Rammappa inscription have been appear built by the Recherla Rudra.

The Shivalingam in the sanctum also rises to a height of nine feet.  There is a prosperity of carvings in this temple on dark rock with a flat finish, portraying  incredible range of themes from the Puranas and various Indian mythological stories .
Ramappa Temple outer surface the sanctum sanctorum, whole board of statue is enthusiastic to Perini Shivathandavam, a well known dance form of the time. Under this board is a sculpture of ladies dancing at the side of a tree, with Lord Krishna playing a flute on the tree top, the trunk of this tree when tapped produces a sharp sound though it is imprinted out of solid rock. How the prehistoric sculptors managed it, is a marvel. It looks in view of the fact that Lord Krishna was playing the flute, the tree trunk was made to produce a musical sound.

There is one more attractive place on all the pillars surrounded by the temple, there are carvings on all four sides, apart from this exacting pillar:Here the pillar all in the region of miniature sculptures. The statue of dancing ladies thirteen awfully small holes flanked by each carving, these holes can’t be looking usually but one can pass a thin yarn through them.One side you turn, the pillars, the ceilings, the walls, all over the place there are tiny sculptures effective tales from the Puranas and it was to give out as doorway and way out instructions.
