About
ISCON: The International society for Krishna consciousness (ISKCON), was formed
in 1968 by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhakti vedanta Swami Prabhupada, when Lord
Krishna first spoke the Bhagavad-Gita to his Disciple Arjuna.
About ISKCON Ananthapur : In 2008, with great
ceremony inaugurated by Governor ND Tiwari. Hare Krishna Land in Anantapur
provides chance to all the public in the nearby area to take benefits of the
full ability for flattering Krishna conscious, by seeing the Deities, trial
philosophy, and taking part in festivals. Ex. Minister for Agriculture N.
Raghuveera Reddy, has public services of ISKCON, said at the opening service
that the society was supplying nutritious food to students of government
schools in about 200 villages in and around Tirupati, well, 1500 patients in
government hospitals also get prasadam daily and arranged to extend the
services to Anantapur. As consequently the practices of bhakti are being
introduced extensively, as was desired by ISKCON's founder-acharyaa, His Divine
Grace A.C. Bhakti vedanta Swami Prabhupada. Please make it a point to visit

1974-75; The Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada made a visit to Tirupati-Tirumala as
a special guest of the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Still at Tirumala, Srila
Prabhupada was tremendously satisfied to have Darshan of Lord Sri

main meal of the day consisting of rice, dhal, vegetable and chapaties.10.00
a.m.- Devotional duties5.00 p.m. - Devotees shower & prepare for evening
temple programme-evening prasadam consisting of filing but lighter meal, milk,
fruits.6.30 p.m. - Tulasi Arati.6.45 p.m. - Sandhya Arati.7.30 p.m. - Class on
Bhagavad-Gita.8.45 p.m. - Study period.9.30 p.m. - Devotees retire for the day.
