History:
The Shree Siddi Vinayaka temple was first established on Thursday 19th November
1801, it is truly prominent in government record list. The first construction
of the Siddhivinayak Temple was a tiny 3.6 m x 3.6 m square brick arrangement
with a dome-shaped brick shikhara The temple
was a little construction cover the black rock icon of Shree
Siddhivinayak, which were two and half feet wide.Following
to a few myths, this temple was initially built by Lord Vishnu, who started
worshipping Lord Ganesh in order to gain Siddhi and beat the forces of devils.The temple was manufacture by the
professional contractor Laxman Vithu Patil. The construction was established by
affluent Agri woman named Deubai Patil. who was a childless woman and a great
devotee of Lord Ganesh .During
starting days it was a little construction covering the black stone idol of
Shree Siddhivinayak. The temple compound was around 2550 Sq. m in region. So
that Deubai Patil was established the temple in the reason to Lord Ganesh
contributes the children’s to other barren women. Ramakrishna Jambhekar Maharaj, a follower of
the Hindu saint Akkalkot Swami Samarth, covered two celestial idols in the face
of the presiding divinity of the temple on the instructions on his guru.
